HORNSEY, John (formerly of Just Write

Known to many as ‘the card man’, we lovingly remember John who was the source of so much delight to the recipients of his cards, and for the warm welcome he offered visitors to his shop.

John passed away peacefully in Hospice on Sunday, 6 September, 2020, in the company of his son Matthew, and in the thoughts of his sister Margaret and brother Colin.

POLLARD, Malcolm Cedric (Mac)

Passed away peacefully in the tender care of Portlet Ward of the General Hospital on Thursday, 10 September, 2020, aged 85 years, much-loved husband of 50 years to Teresa, cherished Dad of Nicky and Carmel, father-in-law to Matthew and Marcus, devoted Grandpa to Laura, Honor, Joe and Alfie. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. Reunited with his beloved son Kevin.

Mac will go via the green lane La Verte Rue, St Peter on the horse drawn carriage on the way to church.

Passed away peacefully on Friday, 11 September, 2020, at Maison St Brelade, aged 89 years, surrounded by her loving family. Joan was a much-loved mother to Gail, Nigel and Beverley, mother-in-law to Roy, Sue, and John, Granny to James, Samantha, Mark, Rebecca and Michael.

PALMER, Martin Anthony

Passed away peacefully at Jersey General Hospital on Saturday, 5 September, 2020, aged 64 years, devoted father of Guy and father-in-law to Sophie, and Grandad to Isla, much-loved son of Mavis and the late Mick, and brother to Mike and Sonia.
