CROXFORD, Vicki.

– David would like to thank all those who have sent messages, cards, letters or called since Vicki’s passing. The response has been overwhelming and is much appreciated. Thank you to the staff at Le Petit Bosquet Residential Care and Nursing Home for making Vicki comfortable and part of their family and to Dr David Jackson for his constant attention to Vicki’s needs. Many thanks to the Very Reverend Mike Keirle, the Reverend James Porter and all those involved with the service of thanksgiving and celebration for the life of Vicki, in making this service a worthy tribute to her. Thanks also to Malcom L’Amy for his sympathetic playing of the Organ. Thank you to Floralies for the beautiful spray arrangement and to Margaret Jones for the beautiful floral pedestal arrangement in the church. Many thanks to Neil Dingle and his team from De Gruchys for their understanding, care and consideration with all the arrangements.

– Cheryl, Michael and families would like to thank all those who attended Leslie’s funeral, and those who sent lovely messages, cards and flowers. A special thanks to Helen Gunton who conducted the service so beautifully, to the staff at Silver Lea who looked after Leslie with such care, and to Andy and his team at Pitcher & Le Quesne who arranged the funeral. BURROWS, Pamela Augustine (née Goguelin)

Passed away suddenly but peacefully at the General Hospital on Saturday, 23 January, 2021, aged 78 years, cherished wife of Derek, devoted Mum to Jaison, Julie and Justin, Mum-in-law of Colin and Marisa, and much-loved Granny of Adam and Emma. A beautiful person in every way, our hearts are truly broken.

A private family funeral has taken place.

Passed away suddenly and peacefully at Scarborough Hospital on Monday, 1 February, 2021, aged 74 years. She will be missed by all her family and friends.

Passed away on Sunday, 31 January, 2021, aged 92 years. Wife of the late Gordon, much-loved Mum of Eunice, Jacqueline and Nellie, mother-in-law of Paul and David, grandmother of James and Melanie, Gideon, Stephanie, Byron, Elliott and Olivia and Philippa, Alexander, Jeremy and Katie-Marie and their respective partners, great-grandmother of Caelan and Sorcha, Elise, Reuben, Logan and Noah, Finn and Bodhi and Margot. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

SIMS, Betty Elsie (née Collin)

Died peacefully in the tender care of Lakeside on Monday, 1 February, 2021, aged 87 years, after a long illness borne with patience. Loving Mum of Chris and Julie, Philip and Lorraine, Jill and Brendan, Mark and Vikki, doting Grandma of Aimee, Matthew, Liza, Kristy, Paul and Chantelle, and great-Grandma to Sophie. Reunited with her childhood sweetheart and husband Eric.

Will always be remembered with a smile.
