Due to the current situation, we had a small and private service and want to thank everyone who attended. Our sincere thanks to Reverend Peter Dyson who held the service with such grace and compassion, and to Ken Browne, Gary Tye and the staff at De Gruchy’s Funeral Care for their excellent guidance and service. Lastly, to the incredible medical staff who have looked after Mum in recent times, from Dr Buture and team at the Cooperative Medical Care, New Era Surgery, to the staff on Sorel Ward.

CHAPMAN, Doreen (née Tardivel)

Passed peacefully away on Monday, 27 July, 2020, aged 96 years, in the presence of her adored family. Devoted wife of the late Frank, much-loved Mum to Kathryn, Richard and Peter, grandmother to Sam, Ben, Susie, Matthew, Lucy, Greta, Alexander, and great-grandmother to Leighton. You brought joy and love into all our lives.

The family would like to thank all the wonderful staff at Maison St Brelade.

Passed away in Glasgow on Friday, 24 July, 2020, dearly loved brother to John, brother-in-law to Pam and uncle to Louise, Stephen and Linda.

Passed away peacefully in hospital in Glasgow on Friday, 24 July, 2020, aged 80 years, beloved husband of Susie, much-loved, fun-filled and proud Dad of Hayley, Shelley, Gary and Daniel, father-in-law to Tom and Simon, Grandad to Jack, James, Thomas, Ella and Kuki. He will be sadly missed by his step-children Paul, Mark and Neil and their families.

Due to the present restrictions, a private funeral service will take place in Glasgow, followed by a local celebration of his life later this summer.

HOLYOAKE, Michelene Lucienne Marie (née Bosio) (Mitch)

Passed away on Tuesday, 28 July, 2020, aged 76 years, beloved wife of 49 years to Alan, much-loved Mum of Laurence, Mark and Richard, mother-in-law of Emma and Helen, loving Grandma to William, Libby, Anoushka, Domini and Sophia. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
