Passed away on Wednesday, 4 September, 2024, in Scotland in his 91st year. Born 15 July, 1934.

Devoted husband of Caroline, and accordion band leader.

Slipped away peacefully on Wednesday, 4 September, 2024, aged 102, at home, one of the last World War 2 WAAF’s. Beloved wife to the late George Henry Upton, 1073780, also formerly serving at RAF Weeton, loving mother to Derek, Denise and Paul and mother-in-law to Janice, Barry and Sue, grandmother to Christan, Michelle, Leigh, Kiri, James and Emily and their partners, and great-grandmother to Simon, Connor, Arthur, Amelie, Bing, Ernie, Alber and Theia.

Heaven reached down from above and took her away within this Spitfire summer.
