LATHAM, Angela (née Creedy)

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, 1 January, 2025, aged 55 years, wife of Peter, Mum to Sam and Max and a daughter and sister who will be deeply missed.

A private cremation will take place and a celebration of Angela’s life will take place at a later date.

JENKINS, Yvonne (née Parkin)

Sadly passed away on Monday, 30 December, 2025, devoted wife of Barry and sister of Coleen. She will be missed by all that knew her.

RILEY, Jill (née Bott) (previously Warn)

Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, 24 December, 2024 in the exceptional care of Silver Springs Care Home with daughter Jane by her side. Beloved widow of John, much-loved sister of Anne, Mary and Carole and sister-in-law of Dave. Jill will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

No longer in our life to share but in our hearts you’re always there.

MORLIDGE, Jack

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jack on Sunday, 29 December, 2024, aged 81 years, loving husband to Monica, loving father to John and Ann-Marie, father-in-law to Genevieve, and grandfather to Lydia and Portia. Jack will be greatly missed by his friends and family in Jersey, the UK and France.

The funeral was held in France on Thursday, 2 January, 2025.

OSBORN-SMITH, Susan (née Kluever)

Died peacefully in Switzerland on Thursday 2nd January 2025, aged 84 years, following a fall and brief illness.

McDERMOTT, Maureen Alexandra (née Hutchings)

We are truly heartbroken to announce the death of Maureen on Saturday, 4 January, 2025, aged 87 years with her family by her side, beloved wife of nearly fifty years to the late Duff ‘Max’, now reunited with him. Loving mother of Maria, Stuart and Giles and Grandma to Aidan, Jack, Luke, Skye and Kyle.

For all the times you gently picked me up, when I fell down, for all the times you tied my shoes and tucked me into bed, or needed something, but put me first instead.

For everything we shared, the dreams, the laughter, and the tears, I love you with a Special Love that deepens every year.’

WHITEL, David Harry (Dave)

Passed away peacefully, aged 89 years, on Friday, 3 January, 2025, in the care of the wonderful staff at Lakeside Manor with his three daughters at his side. Husband to the late Joy, loving father to Carol, Julie and Tracey, Grandpa of Michael, Jodie and Fallon and Great-Grandpa to Serena. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.
