MONAMY, Muriel Violet (née Le Gal)

Passed away peacefully on Sunday, 17 May, 2026, aged 95 years, in the tender loving care of L’Hermitage Care Home, dearly loved Mum and Mum-in-law to Karen and Melvyn, Gran to Matthew and Leigh Ann and Great-Gran to Ezra, Auggie and Gemma. Reunited with her beloved James.

In life, we loved you dearly, in death we love you still.

In our hearts you hold a place, no one else will ever fill.

Funeral Service

Family and friends wishing to attend the funeral service for Muriel are invited to meet at St Clement’s Parish Church on Tuesday, 30 June at 11 am.

A private cremation will follow.

Please do not wear formal or mourning clothes, her favourite colour was blue.

Passed away peacefully on Friday, 17 April, 2026. Devoted wife to Jose Faria, mother of Nuno and Antonio. Maria will be sadly missed by all her family and friends in Madeira and Jersey.

Maria’s funeral service will be held at the Catholic Church of St Thomas on Friday, 5 June, at 10 am.

Burial will take place immediately thereafter at the Surville Cemetery and all are welcome to attend.
