RAMSEY, Glenda

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Glenda, who departed us peacefully on Tuesday, 8 September, 2026, aged 88.

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all those who provided Glenda with such tender, loving care throughout her final years and days, Lavander Care Home, Cheval Roc Residential and Nursing Care Home, Jersey General Hospital, Doctor Clegg and finally, Jersey Hospice, your kindness, compassion and care will always be deeply appreciated.

In accordance with Glenda’s wishes, a private service will be held, and her ashes will be laid to rest with her beloved sister, Heather, and her mother, Vernia.

Glenda will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

LE GUYADER, Jordan Peter

Sadly and unexpectedly passed away on Friday, 7 August, 2026, aged 31 years. Cherished son of Chris and Margot, adored brother to Joseph and Brittany and loving partner to Rosie.

We love you, we miss you and you will remain in our hearts forever.

EGLINGTON, Catherine (née De La Haye)

Cathy passed away peacefully on Sunday, 6 September, 2026, at Maison St Brelade, aged 77 years. A dearly loved mother, Nana, sister, relative and friend. Cathy will be remembered for her fierce independence, warmth and zest for life, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Chris passed away peacefully on Thursday, 10 September, 2026, at Jersey Hospice Care. A much-loved husband, father and Opa. Chris will be greatly missed by all his family and many friends.

MORAN, Robert (Robbie)

Affectionately known as ‘Fr Ted’ by his friends. Robbie died suddenly and unexpectedly on Monday, 31 August 2026. Predeceased by his Dad Noel. Sadly missed by his loving Mam Mary, brother Paul, sisters Julieann and Sarah, sister-in-law Emer, brothers-in-law Gary and Glynne, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends wishing to attend the funeral service for Robbie are warmly invited to meet at St Thomas’ Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, 24 September, at noon, followed by a private cremation.

At the family’s request, mourners are encouraged to wear colour rather than black.
