It is with deep sorrow that we announce that Derek, aged 87, passed away peacefully on Monday, 24 August, 2026. Dearly loved and missed by his children, Germaine, Veneta and Darren, their mother Hazel and his five grandchildren.

Relatives and friends wishing to attend the funeral service for Derek are invited to meet at Jersey Crematorium, Royal Jersey Showground on Thursday, 24 September, at 11.30 am.

Passed away peacefully on Saturday, 22 August, 2026, in the tender loving care of Les Houmets Care Home, who showed him so much love, care and respect.

A much-loved husband, our Dad, Papa and Pops to Shona and Tim, Iain and Tina, Katy, Kelly, Callum and Kyle, Lauren, Ricky, Benjamin, Martina and Elle.

His full and eventful life will be remembered by all he came in to contact with. His love and kindness for his family showed no abounds. You are greatly missed by us all Dad, but we take great comfort that you are now reunited with your beloved Rena, our Mum.
