ORMSBY, Maureen

Beloved wife of Mike, mother of Philip, David and Andrea, mother-in-law to Clare, Terry and Lisa, grandmother of Matthew and Mansi, Emilie and Scott and twins Toby and Finlay and great-grandmother of Freya. Maureen died peacefully in her sleep in Devon after a short illness. Mike and Andrea were by her side.

Due to be 88 next month and in her 58th year married happily to Mike.

Remembering 47 happy years in Jersey and her many wonderful friends.

A celebration of Maureen’s life will take place at the Church of St Cyr and Julitta, Newton St Cyres, Exeter at 2 pm on Friday, 6 March.

Passed away peacefully at Jersey Hospice on Friday, 6 February, 2026, aged 67 years. Beloved wife of Pierre. Will be sadly missed by her sisters and brother, Joan, Doreen, Ellen, Anne, Edith, Kathleen and Richard and brothers-in-law Roy, Ian, Robert, John, Michael and Derek.

Passed away peacefully on Monday, 16 February, 2026, aged 67 years, in the care of Jersey Hospice.

Heaven just got the best Angel. Reunited with her soul mate Alistair, adored Mum to Sheanne and Andrea and bestest Nanny to Ruby, Millie and Finley. She was an incredible woman with a heart of gold, would do anything for her family and friends!

Our hearts are broken, you were the glue that held us together, sleep tight now.
