Passed away peacefully in the loving care of Oak Ward, on Monday, 15 February, 2016, aged 93 years. She will be sadly missed by her loving sister Heather and family. Florence passed away on Wednesday, 27 January, 2016, in Saskatoon, Canada, aged 99 years. Formerly a registered nurse at the General Hospital from 1946, she emigrated to Canada in 1957, joining her father and sister and family in Saskatoon. Until her recent illness, Florence remained fiercely independent and relished the company of friends and family. Florence will be remembered with great and enduring love by a close network of friends and by her family. A memorial service took place at St Steven’s Church, in Saskatoon on Monday, 1 February. Interment will take place in Jersey at the Crematorium Rose Garden.
