Passed away peacefully on Monday, 6 January, 2025, at Les Charrieres Care Home, aged 82 years, beloved husband of Louise for 58 years, loving father of Piers, Victoria, Philippe and Sarah, father-in-law to Sarah-Jane and Helen, proud Papa of Lyndon, Emily, Joseph, Elinor, Sophie, Lucy and the late Morgan, Grand-Papa to Rowyn.

BURTON, Roger John

Much-loved Dad, PaPa, brother, uncle and friend, died peacefully at Jersey Hospice Care on Sunday, 12 January, 2025. Now reunited with Maureen in heaven.

The funeral service will be at Grouville Parish Church on Thursday, 30 January at noon, followed by a party at the JADC Club Room.

Doreen passed peacefully away in the wonderful care of Pinewood Residential Home on Saturday, 11 January, 2025, at the age of 91 years, loving and devoted wife of the late Rev’d Clifford Measday, loving mother to her daughter Christine and her son John, mother-in-law to Sarah, much-loved Grandma to Matthew, Jackie, Oliver, Vicky, Adam, Alex, Timothy, Nigel, Kirstyne, Jenny and Les. Doreen will be greatly missed by her great-grandchildren and many family and friends.

Passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Wednesday, 8 January, reunited with her late husband Roy, a much-loved mother, Grandma and Great-Grandma. Will be missed by all her family.

Passed away on Sunday, 12 January, 2025 at the General Hospital, looked after by the wonderful and compassionate staff on Rozel Ward.
