The Connétable, Procureurs and past and present members of the Municipality are saddened at the recent passing of Peter Hamon, a former Roads Inspector for the Parish.

Passed away peacefully on Sunday, 27 July, 2025, aged 76 years, loving partner and friend to Anthony, beloved mother to Sean and Shelley and adored Nan to Lauren and Liam, and Great Nanoo to Ava and Sienna.

Now at peace and reunited with her beloved parents Joan and Leonard (Ginger) Huish.

WOOD, Francis John (Frank)

Passed away peacefully on Friday, 18 July, 2025, in his 88th year, treasured and devoted father of Paul, Tracy, Nicholas and Jonathan, much-loved father-in-law to Wendy, Trish, Alison and late Ian and a grandfather and great-grandfather. Will be sadly missed.

A true gentleman and friend to many.

Now at peace with his beloved Olive.

Passed away peacefully, aged 87 on Sunday, 20 July, 2025, at Jersey General Hospital, adored wife of Brian, loving mother to Sue and a wonderful grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family, as was her wish, on Tuesday, 22 July, 2025, at the age of 85. A strong, beautiful, intelligent and travelled woman. A beloved mother, grandmother, aunt-in-law and friend, who will be dearly missed and memories treasured by all that knew her.

Aged 74, Ja passed away on Thursday, 24 July, 2025, surrounded by his family having endured a long illness. Husband to Jane, Dad to Jamie, Lisa and Nicola, father-in-law to Andy, Poppa D to Jacob and Isaac.

We are very grateful for the loving care he received from the team at Les Charrieres Nursing Home and Memory Lane and Lakeside Manor.

Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, 21 July, 2025, at Jersey Hospice, devoted and beloved wife to the late Dennis Greenwood, much-loved mother to Sonya and Nigel, much-loved Grandma to Johely and Dannyjay, Thaddeus, Tom and Joe and dear mother-in-law to Fernando and Lisette. She will be sadly missed.
