Passed away peacefully on Monday, 27 April, 2026, aged 93 years, at Le Petit Bosquet Care Home with his loving family by his side. Husband to the late Eva (née Hubert), father to Nigel, father-in-law to Karen, grandfather to Samantha and Jonathan and great-grandfather to David, Zoey, Logan and Eva.

Rest in peace. Gone but not forgotten.

JOURNEAUX, Tony

Tony passed away peacefully on Friday, 24 April, 2026, in the wonderful care of Jersey Hospice, surrounded by his close family. He was dearly loved by his wife Sue, his daughter Michelle, his son-in-law Jonny, his mother Jean, his late father Geoff, his sister Janette and brother-in-law Ola, and his nephew Stephen. Tony was a devoted grandfather to Archie and Toby, who adored him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

SAMPSON, Sue (formerly Maynell) (née Wortley)

Michael is deeply saddened to share the news of the sudden and unexpected death of beloved Sue, aged 73, on Friday, 24 April, 2026.

From career bank manager to latter day fitness enthusiast, Sue strode through life’s challenges with a determination to give of her best at all times and, for that strength and purpose of mind, those who dearly love and respect her will always be grateful.
