Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, 15 July, 2025, aged 78 years, adored wife of John, much-loved Mum of Georgina and Aimée, devoted sister to Stephen, and cherished aunt to Oliver and Thomas. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.

WILCOX, Norman

Passed away peacefully in the care of Jersey Hospice, surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday, 16 July, 2025, aged 89 years, following a tragic fall at home. Beloved husband of Moira and father to Peter, step-father to Bronia and Donna. He was a much-loved Grandpa and Great-Grandpa.

SQUIRES, John Wilfred

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of John Squires, who died peacefully at home at his beloved Panorama on Tuesday, 17 June, 2025, at 10.05 pm, as he had always wished, aged 89. Surrounded by his loving family, John was the dearly loved husband of Jill, adored father of Nicola and Anita, and a wonderful father-in-law to Johan and Nic. He was a much-loved grandfather to Jean-Paul, Stephanie, Daniel, and Rebecca.

John touched the lives of all who knew him through his warmth, generosity, and ever-present sense of humour. He will be greatly missed and forever held in our hearts.

A private cremation has taken place.

RICCIO, Janet Margaret (née Peen)

Passed away on Friday, 27 June, 2025, aged 72 years, devoted wife of Giuseppe, Mum to Stefan and Adam, mother-in-law to Jen, sister to Diane, sister-in-law to John. Lovingly remembered by her friends and family for her support and kindness.

At Janet’s request, a private family funeral took place on Friday, 18 July.
