Passed away peacefully in the loving care of Beaumont Villa on Tuesday, 17 February, 2026, aged 86 years, loving mother of Phil, Elsa and the late Alan, Colin and Helen. Valerie will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

L’AMY, Roselle Amy (née Le Cornu) (Rose)

Passed away peacefully at Cheval Roc Nursing Home on Thursday, 19 February, 2026, in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Jack, much-loved sister of Betty and John, mother of Susan, Gillian and Nicola, mother-in-law of Nick, Paul and the late Simon, grandmother of Natalie and Orlando, Kate and Gary, James and Margherita, Alex and Lucy and Aaron and great-grandmother of Olivia, Sofia and Olympia.

We will all deeply miss her love, warmth and dry sense of humour very much.

ATKINSON, Philip John

Surrounded by love, Phil passed away on Saturday, 21 February, 2026. He was so deeply loved by his wife Yvette, daughters Sharon and Jane and son Russell. A really special and much-loved Pops to Robyn, Milly, Yvie and Freddy.

Passed away suddenly on Thursday, 5 February, 2026, aged 42 years, beloved son of Mark and Vivien and brother to Christopher. He will be greatly missed by all his family and many friends.

Norman passed away in the loving care of Lakeside Manor with his daughters by his side on Friday, 20 February, 2026, aged 95 years. Dearly beloved husband of the late Rozelle, Dad to Sally and Nicky, Papa to Matthew, Melissa, Richard, Christopher and Gemma, father-in-law to Tom and the late Phil and Great Papa to Isaac. Norman will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.

BUB, Julian Stanley

Julian S Bub passed away peacefully in London on Tuesday, 10 February, 2026, aged 81 years, after a long fight with lung disease. Beloved husband of Naomi, and father to Carissa and David.

Julian spent many delightful years in Jersey as Managing Director of Chase (JPMorgan Chase) Bank. He also held the position of President of the Jersey Bankers’ Association, and contributed to island life as a passionate photographer, both winning awards and fundraising for Jersey Hospice.

The funeral service took place on Monday, 16 February, at Golders Green Crematorium in London.

He will be missed by his family and so many friends worldwide.

BROWN, Gillian (née Stenning) (Gill)

Aged 78 years, Gill passed away peacefully on Saturday, 14 February, 2026. A much-loved wife to Trevor, mother to Paul, mother-in-law to Claire and Nana to Evie. Gill will be greatly missed by all her family and many friends.
