Passed away peacefully on Thursday, 10 September, 2026, aged 89 years. Beloved wife to the late Jim, a dearly loved Mum of Neil and Den, a much-loved mother-in-law to Gill and Mel and a devoted and cherished Grandma to Aimee, Erin, Ciaran and Robyn. She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Glenda, who departed us peacefully on Tuesday, 8 September, 2026, aged 88.

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all those who provided Glenda with such tender, loving care throughout her final years and days, Lavander Care Home, Cheval Roc Residential and Nursing Care Home, Jersey General Hospital, Doctor Clegg and finally, Jersey Hospice, your kindness, compassion and care will always be deeply appreciated.

In accordance with Glenda’s wishes, a private service will be held, and her ashes will be laid to rest with her beloved sister, Heather, and her mother, Vernia.

Glenda will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
