ROSSI, Valentino (Tino)

Sadly passed away on Friday, 29 May, 2026, aged 91. Born in Italy, he worked for over 60 years in the catering business in Jersey, garnering much acclaim as a restaurateur. Caring father of Alan and Vicky, and loving grandfather to Luna, he will be deeply missed and very fondly remembered by all, including his many friends, customers and the staff at La Capannina restaurant.

Passed away peacefully at St Joseph’s Care Home, on Monday, 25 May, 2026, aged 85 years, dearly loved father to Claire and Helen, father-in-law to Steve and Craig, adored grandfather to Josh, Luke, Tianne and Kaya and great-grandfather to Jayden, Lucas and Connor.

Passed away peacefully in the loving care of Jersey Hospice on Friday, 22 May, 2026, aged 80 years, with family by his side. Loving partner to Mavis and treasured stepfather to Tia.
