Passed away peacefully on Friday, 15 May, 2026, aged 93 years, in the tender care of Les Charrières Care Home with loving family by her side. Beloved widow to the late Brian Tapley, loved Mum to Nick and Liza, Mum-in-law to Clive and Chris, dearest Granny to Johanna, Victoria, Simon and Matthew and very proud Great-Granny to her ten great-grandchildren.

Inspirational teacher and true champion of her native Jèrriais language.

Always fondly remembered and missed by her family and friends.

Passed away peacefully on Friday, 17 April, 2026. Devoted wife to Jose Faria, mother of Nuno and Antonio. Maria will be sadly missed by all her family and friends in Madeira and Jersey.

Funeral Service

Maria’s funeral service will be held at the Catholic Church of St Thomas on Friday, 5 June, at 10 am.

Burial will take place immediately thereafter at the Surville Cemetery and all are welcome to attend.

Aged 87 years, Joan passed away peacefully on Monday, 11 May, 2026, at Jersey Hospice Care. A much-loved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Joan will be greatly missed by all her family and many friends.

Passed away in the loving care of Jersey Hospice on Sunday, 10 May, 2026, aged 58, beloved sister, friend and Auntie. Chrissy was a highly regarded teacher at Victoria College Prep, First Tower and St Clement’s schools.

Celebration of Life

The family invite all who knew Chrissy to a Celebration of her life at St Paul’s Church, New Street, St Helier at 2.30 pm on Friday, 5 June.

Chrissy requested that colourful and casual wear be worn.
