Passed peacefully after a short lived, unknown illness on Saturday, 18 July, 2026, a much-loved husband to Carmen; a dear Papa to his three children Juan, Maria and Kiko and their partners Tina, Luis and Carolyn; Abuelo to four grandchildren Elliott, Lola, Scarlett and Sorrel. He will be deeply missed by all his family.

The funeral service is to be held at St Saviour’s Parish Church on Wednesday, 26 August at 11 am, where he will be laid to rest with his beloved grandparents, his adored mother Doris and brother David.

Passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, 12 August, 2026, adored wife of Geoff for 74 years, deeply loved Mum of Barry, a much-loved mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother who will be so deeply missed by all her loving family and many friends.

GUILLOCHON, Thérèse Paule Jacqueline

Passed away peacefully at University Hospital Southampton on Saturday, 25 July, 2026, with her loved ones by her side. A deeply cherished sister to Andre, and to her beloved late siblings Maurice and Colette and a treasured aunt.

A celebration of Thérèse’s life will take place on Thursday, 27 August at 11.30 am, in the East Chapel, Southampton Crematorium.

It is with deep sadness we announce our dearest Chris passed away unexpectedly at Jersey General Hospital on Friday, 31 July, 2026, with his devoted partner Karen and loving mother Margaret at his side. Aged 62 years. Adored partner of Karen, cherished son of Margaret and the late Clive, loving brother of Jenny and brother-in-law to Jab, uncle to Ian and family.

SHAW, Gillian (Gill)

Passed away on Saturday, 1 August, 2026, after a short illness, aged 80 years, in Somerset, dearly loved wife of Leon, mother to André and Nikki, devoted grandmother of Cosmo, Maia, Blade, Marti, Zen and Boadie.

Gill spent many happy years teaching in Jersey, latterly head teacher at Grouville School.

DE LECQ LE MONTAIS, Kenneth

Passed away on Sunday, 9 August, 2026, in Crewkerne Care Home in the UK. who now joins his sons Kiel and Ian. Will be greatly missed by his wife Emerald, daughter Marina and son Garry, Grand-kids Rickie and Darren and Great Grand-kids.
