DEL AMO, Jean Angela (née Bennett)

Passed away peacefully in the care of the General Hospital on Monday, 3 November, 2025, aged 91 years, loving wife of 63 years of the late Adelino del Amo, much-loved mother of Teresa, Tony, Marisa, Lisa, mother-in-law of Fiona and Ron and adored Grandma of Sean, Jordan, Ryan, Lucas, Marcus, Liam and Kayleigh. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.

Family and friends wishing to attend Jean’s funeral service are invited to the Royal Jersey Showground, Trinity on Wednesday, 3 December, at 11.30 am.

By request, no mourning clothes to be worn please.

BURNETT, Brenda Gaye

Brenda, age 78, passed away peacefully at the James Paget Hospital in Gorleston, UK after a short illness. Brenda will be missed by all her family and friends in Jersey, the UK, and overseas.

In accordance with her wishes there will be no funeral.

GILSON, Diana Mary (née Du Val) (formerly Rennell)

Passed away peacefully in the loving care of Maison St Brelade on Sunday, 9 November, 2025, aged 92 years, adored mother of Andy and Eddie, mother-in-law to Aom and Hayley, grandmother to Morgan, Eleanor, Harry and Katie and great-grandmother of Eden and Aria. Diana will be deeply missed by Mildred, Elizabeth and all family, friends and her Maison St Brelade family.

Relatives and friends wishing to attend the funeral of Diana are invited to meet at St Mary’s Parish Church on Tuesday, 2 December, at 12.30 pm, followed by interment in the Parochial Cemetery.
