PALLOT, David John

Passed away in Leicester on Saturday, 11 August, 2018, aged 72 years. David was the only child of David and Hilda Pallot (née Neale) and was brought up in Gorey Village, he attended Grouville School and Hautlieu, where he was Head Boy. He graduated with a degree in medicine from Bristol University and went on to become a Lecturer in Anatomy, first at Bristol and then at Leicester University. In 1991, he became a Professor, taking up the position of Chairman of Anatomy at Al Ain University in the United Arab Emirates. David was married to Sally and they had three sons. ROBINSON, Margaret Patricia (Peggy)

Passed away peacefully at Palm Springs Nursing Home on Tuesday, 11 September, 2018, aged 90 years, beloved wife of the recently departed Lewis, mother of Michael and Christopher, mother-in-law to Deborah and grandfather of Alicia, Alexandria, Andrew, Clare and Melissa, the elder sister of Teresa. Together with Lewis again. Many thanks to the caring staff at Palm Springs Nursing Home.

BATCHELOR, Clifford (Batchy)

Passed away peacefully in the loving care of Bartlett Ward at the General Hospital on Saturday, 8 September, 2018, aged 78 years, with his wife and son by his side, dearly loved husband of Norma for 51 years and adored Dad of Chris. A man of immense courage who overcame many challenges with humour and dignity. As the founder of Maufant Youth Club, he enriched the lives of the many young people he came into contact with. He will be deeply missed by his sisters in Liverpool, family in England and South Africa and his many friends everywhere. Not how did he die, but how did he live. Funeral details to follow. WALLSER, Eileen Florence (née Le Lievre)

Passed away peacefully in the wonderful care of the General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, 9 September, 2018, aged 92 years, beloved wife of 71 years to Tommy, loving and devoted Mum of Ann and her partner Terry, loving Nan to David and his wife Lynn and great-Nan to Jake and Sam. Forever in our hearts. A golden heart stopped beating, hard-working hands now rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us, he only takes the best. Good night Mum. A special smile, a special face, Special times, I’ll never replace.
