POISSON, Muriel (née Godfray) MBE

Passed away peacefully at Jersey Hospice on Thursday, 6 November, 2025.

Aunty Muriel was a source of love, wisdom, and kindness to all who knew her. Her warmth, laughter, and generosity will be forever remembered by her family and friends.

Passed away on Monday, 17 November, 2025, in the loving care of St Joseph’s Care Home, beloved wife of the late Dennis, adored Mum of Suzanne (Sue), Cheryl and Marcus, mother-in-law of Chris and Kate, grandmother to Samantha, Gemma, Jasmine, Jessica and Kerry and great-grandmother to Sonny, Jessie and Connie. Janet will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

Passed away peacefully, aged 85, on Wednesday, 19 November, 2025 surrounded by love, at Les Charrieres Nursing Home. Loving wife of the late Tony, adored mother of Alan, Martin and Lynne, cherished mother-in-law to Lesley, Tom and Andy and devoted Nanny to Liam, Alfie and Emma.

Funeral Service

Maureen’s funeral will be held on Thursday, 11 December, at 11 am at St John’s Parish Church, followed by a private cremation.

No specific dress code, although should you wish to, please wear some winter white.
