McCANN, Daniel (Danny)
Stephen, Elizabeth and their families would like to thank friends for their kindness, sympathy and messages of support following the loss of Danny. Grateful thanks to all who attended the funeral service and who made donations in Danny’s memory to the Sanctuary Trust or the Jersey Brain Tumour Charity. Our thanks to the Rev Kirsty Friend and to Neil and the team from De Gruchy’s Funeral Care who helped to ensure a fitting service for Danny. The Guard of Honour by the Air Training Corps was very much appreciated. Finally, thank you to the staff of Corbiere Ward and the Hospice for their excellent care.

TAYLOR, Theresa Joy (née Le Troquer)
Theresa passed away peacefully, with her father by her side, on Saturday, 21 February, 2026, aged just 47, in the loving and dedicated care of all at Jersey Hospice after a relatively short but bravely borne illness. Loving and caring mother to her children Jacob and Bethany, beloved daughter of Michel and Barbara, sister of Lilley and her husband Tim and Aunty to Ella and Henry. Theresa will be so greatly missed for ever by all her loving family and friends.
Theresa was so grateful to her friends from St Paul’s Church who visited and helped her during her illness and will also be greatly missed by the Sisters, School Governors, teachers, staff and pupils at FCJ Primary School where she taught her young pupils with so much love and affection.

Passed away peacefully at Cheval Roc Nursing Home on Thursday, 19 February, 2026, in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Jack, much-loved sister of Betty and John, mother of Susan, Gillian and Nicola, mother-in-law of Nick, Paul and the late Simon, grandmother of Natalie and Orlando, Kate and Gary, James and Margherita, Alex and Lucy and Aaron and great-grandmother of Olivia, Sofia and Olympia.
We will all deeply miss her love, warmth and dry sense of humour very much.
