JONES, Alun Morgan

Passed away suddenly while on holiday in South Africa on Thursday, 26 January, 2017, aged 50 years, loving son of Pauline and Derek, stepson of Ray and Margaret, much-loved Dad of Jamie-Leigh and stepdad to Clinton and Calvin, brother of Frances, Sarah, Glen and Robert, brother-in-law to Lee and Mark. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. A funeral will take place in South Africa and a memorial service will take place in Jersey at a date to be announced. MARTIN, Colin Robert

Mairose and Jane would like to thank everyone for their kind thoughts, words and actions over the past weeks. They have taken great comfort from these during this difficult time and have really appreciated everyone’s support. They would also like to thank everyone who attended Colin’s funeral to say ‘au revoir’ to him; he will have been delighted with the turnout! Thanks go to everyone who participated in the service and made it so special for us, and Steve de St Croix and his colleagues at Maillards, for all their help and guidance. Mairose and Jane would finally like to thank every person who looked after Colin so well during his last day with us, allowing him to die in peace with great dignity.
