RICE, Danny

A genuine, good guy. Good night, God bless.

Ian and Tess, Nathan, Daniel and their families xx.

RICE, Daniel Nicholas

The rolling stream of life rolls on, But still the vacant chair, Recalls the love, the voice, the smile, Of the one who once sat there. Nothing can ever take away, The love a heart holds dear, Fond memories linger every day, Remembrance keeps him near.

Your devoted son Kieran.

RICE, Daniel Nicholas

God saw you getting tired, And a cure was not to be, So He put His arms around you, And whispered ‘come to me’. With tearful eyes I watched you, As you slowly slipped away, And though I loved you dearly, I couldn’t make you stay. Your golden heart stopped beating, Your tired hands put to rest, God broke my heart to prove to me, He only takes the best.

Your devoted son Bradley.

RICE, Daniel Nicholas

I didn’t know you long Danny, but I promise I’ll always look after your little girl. RIP.

Antony xx.

HUET, Jacqui

The Huet family wish to express their gratitude to all who attended Jacqui’s memorial service and to those who have so generously made donations to Jersey Hospice and Marie Stopes. Losing Jacqui has been very difficult for us but we have taken great comfort from the kindness, support and understanding of so many. The wonderful memories that have been shared have also allowed us to progress to a new normality. We cannot name everyone but we would like to give particular thanks to Dr Nicky Bailhache and her wonderful staff at Jersey Hospice, the Jersey Hospital (ICU and HDU) and to the Jersey Ambulance Service. Thanks also to David Lister for professionally and compassionately leading the service and similar thoughts go to Paul Battrick and his staff at Pitcher & Le Quesne. Terry Le Main deserves a special mention for his very personal tribute to Jacqui which we much appreciated. Finally a thank you to all who met with Jacqui and shared such good times through her lifetime and especially those who visited during her last few years; she loved you all. And a final message from Jacqui ‘Don’t cry for me I did not die. I am the clouds the bright blue sky, the moon, the sun, the earth, the tree, the wind, the rain, they all are me. I am the stars, I am the sea, just pause a while and think of me. I am the night, the sunny day, I am around in many ways. So no sad thoughts for I am free to love for all eternity. ‘
