EASTWOOD, Stan. – Stan’s family would like to thank everyone who joined in the loving celebration of his life and everyone who sent cards, flowers and donations to Hospice in Stan’s memory. Special thanks also go to funeral director Ken Browne and MC Nelson for ensuring Stan’s day went so smoothly. Stan would have been surprised and humbled to be cherished by so many. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Dr Callander and the Hospice team for their loving care.

SUTHERLAND, Daniel Hugh (Danny Boy – a Legend)

Danny died peacefully at the General Hospital on Saturday, 16 March, 2024, aged 87 years, adored husband of the late Annette. Deeply missed by his daughter Karen, son-in-law Patrick, grandson Christopher and his wife Millie, son David, daughter-in-law Natalie, granddaughter Dani and step-granddaughter Stephanie, son John, daughter-in-law Fran, granddaughter Chantelle and her partner Phil and his great-granddaughter Maizie May. Sadly, Danny will be missed by his sister Mary, her husband Norman and Rebecca, David, Kaya and Leon. Dearly loved by Mireille and Mark.

Now at rest.

LE BAS, Audrey (née Hanson)

Passed away peacefully at General Hospital on Friday, 15 March, 2024, a truly remarkable lady whose kindness and generosity touched many and who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Rest in eternal peace.

As per Audrey’s wishes, a celebration of her life will take place at the Crematorium Chapel at 2.30 pm on Thursday, 11 April.

Passed away peacefully in the loving and very special care of Le Petit Bosquet on Monday, 18 March, 2024, aged 84 years, deeply loved wife of Martin, mother to Louise and Robert, mother-in-law to Kim, and Nan to Ryan, Amy, Bailey and Katie.

FARNHAM, Alan Morley

Aged 93 years, passed away peacefully in the compassionate care of Jersey Hospice on Monday, 18 March, 2024, now reunited with his father William, mother Violet and brother Colin. Loving husband of Jill for 66 years, father to Anthony and Richard, father-in-law, Grandpère to Sabine and Loic, grandfather-in-law to Mario and Amy, great-grandfather to Matisse, Yann, Rafael and Ella-Rae, and a friend to many. Alan will be greatly missed.

Alan’s funeral will be held in Grouville Parish Church on Wednesday, 3 April at 11.30 am, followed by a private cremation.

Passed away on Thursday 29 February, 2024.
