TALBOT, Ralph

Passed away Thursday, 6 October, 2016 in Stroud, Gloucester. Son of Ethel and Charles Talbot, brother to Ann and Jill, born in Rozel on 30 September, 1935, attended St Martin School under Mr Anthony, farmed Elsingham, St Martin and the island of Brecqhou. Past member of the Jersey and Guernsey Motorcycle and Light Car Club. Fondest memories. A’bétôt man fréir. Sister Ann, the Baytree, Truro, TL1 3JH.

SCOTT, Iris Margaret

Iris’s family would like to thank everyone who attended her funeral, sent cards and letters of condolence and who made donations to Jersey Hospice Care in her memory. Thanks also to the Paramedics from the Ambulance Service, the States of Jersey Police Officers and the ladies from the Rapid Response and Reablement Team who were all so kind and considerate. Thank you to Reverend Peter Dyson for the beautiful service and to Mr Kenneth Francis for the music during the service. Special thanks to all the staff at De Gruchy Funeral Care especially Shane Hatherley whose assistance during a difficult time was invaluable and, last but not least, to Chris, a grandson in a million.

Died peacefully at Silver Springs Care Home on Wednesday, 12 October, 2016, aged 94 years, companion of the late Charles Carrel and close friend of all the Carrel family. Alan will be sadly missed.
