Passed away peacefully in the care of the High Dependency Unit of the Jersey General Hospital on Sunday, 21 August, 2016, aged 70 years, after a long illness, dearly loved partner, Dad, father-in-law and Pop who will be sadly missed by family and friends. Passed away peacefully after a long illness at Jersey Hospice on Saturday, 20 August, 2016, aged 72 years, much-loved wife of Alistair, very proud Mum of Katie, devoted and adoring Grandma to Daisy and cherished mother-in-law to Simon. My darling Barry, heartbroken our time together has been cut short, you fought so hard to stay, rest easy now. You gave me many things in life, gifts both great and small, but most of all you gave me love, the greatest gift of all.

God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be, So he put His arms around you and whispered ‘Come with Me. ‘With tearful eyes we watched you slowly fade away, Although we loved you dearly, we would not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, Hard-working hands at rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best. Love and miss you so much.
