Mary’s family wish to thank all those who sent condolences and attended her funeral. Many thanks also to all those who sent flowers and made donations on Mary’s behalf to Family Nursing. Special thanks to Mary’s GP, Dr Guy Wildy who supported Mary in her wish to stay at home, where she passed away peacefully with her family by her side. Thank you also to Family Nursing, the Hospice and the night nurses who offered support whilst we cared for Mary at home, as well as to Lynsey from Maillard’s Funeral Directors who helped Mary plan her funeral and ensure her wishes were carried out. We thank Reverend Andy Thewlis for the many visits and prayers said with Mary, and the beautiful service we know she would have loved. Mary will always be remembered for her willingness to embrace all who entered her life, her wicked sense of humour and her strength that came to the forefront in her last few weeks with us. She will be greatly missed.
