Passed away peacefully in the tender care of Jersey Hospice on Monday, 13 June, 2016, aged 84 years, with his loving family by his side, after a long illness patiently borne, beloved husband to Margaret for more than 60 years, loving father to David, Michael, Martin and Richard and father-in-law to Anne and Rachel and dear Poppa to Kayleigh, Andrew, Claire, Toby, Ella, Lucy, Adéle, Molly and Elliott. Stanley will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. Funeral Service Relatives and friends wishing to attend the funeral of Stanley are invited to meet at Philadelphie Methodist Church, St Peter, on Thursday, 23 June at 2 pm, followed by private family burial. Our brother-in-law, Stan, who endured many years of discomfort and pain with both fortitude and good humour, whilst dealing with Parkinson’s disease has been an example to us all. Rest in peace now with no more pain, we have many memories of happy times.
