THOMAS, Gillian

With warmest memories of a dearly-loved teacher, colleague and friend of the Beaulieu community, Mrs Thomas taught speech training and drama at Beaulieu Convent School from 1966 until her retirement in 1990. She was a well-respected member of the Beaulieu staff and will be sadly missed by everyone.

COLOMBO, Joan Marie (née Honeycombe)

Santina and all the family would like to thank everyone for their messages of condolence, Telephone calls, flowers and hugs after the passing of Joan recently. Thanks also to everyone who attended the service, those who travelled and for sharing memories of Joan and Franco. Thanks to Andy Errington-Rennell of Pitcher & Le Quesne for all his help and kindness with the arrangements for Joan’s funeral. Deacon Iain MacFirbhisigh for his kind words, Imogen Nicolls for singing so beautifully and the choir. Thanks to all at Pinewood for looking after Joan for 6>af 1/2< years before moving to Oak Ward at St Saviour's, where she was a patient for the last three months. Everyone who looked after Joan wonderfully with humour and respect. . . . lasting friends. To the doctors, nurses and staff in Plémont Ward, thank you for everything that you did to make Joan's final days peaceful, comfortable and for the respect that you gave to her and her visitors.

A true Bluenose and a great Bear who will be sadly missed by members, past and present, of the Jersey Loyal Rangers Supporters Club and all his friends from the Temple Bar.

Passed away peacefully among the caring staff of Pinewood Residential Home, on Monday, 19 October, 2015, after a few months of illness, aged 90, wife of the late Roy and devoted mother of the late Juliet Stevenson. Will be greatly missed by Lucy and Puccini, her many friends in the Island and family in England and Australia. Funeral details to follow.
