Passed away on Wednesday, 13 August, 2014, at Southampton General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, aged 60 years, will be greatly missed by his devoted wife Yasmine, children Charlene, Lee, Jemma, Harry and all the families and also his grandson Alex. A private funeral will take place in England. Donations in Jim’s memory to Jersey Animal Shelter.

The Partington and Martin families would like to thank everyone who attended Mary’s funeral service. Thank you for all the numerous cards, letters and flowers received by the family and the donations in Mary’s memory to Cancer Relief. We would like to say a special thank you to all the amazing staff at Palm Springs Nursing Home for their wonderful care during the last weeks of Mary’s life. Thank you to Dr. Amanda Jones and Dr Philippa Bashforth for their continual support and advice. A huge thank you to Reverend Mark Bond, Terri Bond, Nigel Coutanche and the staff at De Gruchy’s Funeral Care for their guidance and understanding at such a difficult time. Also thank you to Joan Richard from Cancer Relief for her kindness, the staff at Jersey Hospice during Mary’s respite visit and to Mary’s closest friends who were a continued support to her and the family. A very special thank you to Ann Minchington who wrote to Mary nearly every day during the two years of her illness.
