LE RUEZ, Laurence Henry

Joy, Eric, Gill, Sue and Penny and families would like to thank everyone who attended our Dad’s funeral service, those who sent cards and tributes and those who have made donations to charities in his memory. We would also like to thank Pastor Brian Vibert, who conducted the service, organist Freda Laisney and the staff of funeral directors Maillard’s for their help and kindness. Finally, we would like to make special mention of the medical staff who have attended to our father, including Drs Mark Fullerton and Richard Worth, and the staff of Gentle Care, St Kitts Care Agency and Family Nursing and Home Care for their unfailing professionalism, sensitivity and support over the past two years and, in particular, his main carer for the past 12 months, Liz Bailey.

HAMON, Joe

The family of the late Joe Hamon wish to say a huge thank you to everyone who came to say goodbye, sent flowers, cards, messages of condolence or donations to Mind (Jersey). To Dr David Jackson for his professional care of Joe over many years, to the paramedics, the hospital doctors and nurses who tended to Joe. To Hilary Grimes who so bravely helped a stranger. To the Reverend Billy Slatter for leading the service and for his kindness shown to the family when they needed it most and to all the wonderful family of friends at St Brelade Bowls Club. Passed peacefully away at Maison St Brelade, on Wednesday, 14 May, 2014, aged 87 years, dearly-loved and devoted husband of Doreen (née Le Sueur) for 63 years, loving father of Marian, Pamela and Victor, father-in-law of Colin, Nick and the late Christina, adored grandfather of Rachel, Frances, Peter, Laura, David and Tammy. Sadly missed by all his family and friends.
