Sheila and her family wish to thank everyone for their cards and messages, and to those who sent donations to Cancer Research. Also, thank you to all who attended the funeral – it was lovely to see you all and nice to also see some of Don’s old work-mates there. Sincere thanks to Dr Bailache and all the staff at the EAU and on Plémont Ward who looked after Don and supported Sheila so kindly during the time Don was with them. Thank you too, to Don’s doctor, Dr Perkins, who looked after Don so caringly over many years, and the team at Quayside Surgery. Finally a big thank you to Paul Battrick of Pitcher & Le Quesne for pulling out all the stops to make sure we had the funeral when we wanted and how we wanted – his attention to detail was truly second to none. Thank you.
