The family would like to thank family and friends for the lovely condolence cards and letters received, to those who sent flowers and to all who attended Mum’s funeral service. Thanks to Rev Andy Thewlis for a lovely service. To all who sent donations to Jersey Heart Foundation or Jersey Hospice Care in Mum’s memory, and a special thanks to Paul Battrick and staff at Pitcher & Le Quesne for their kindness, support and fine arrangements. Gratitude and blessings.

HOWIE, Barbara Jean

Liz, Jane and families would like to thank everyone who attended Mum’s funeral and sent cards at this sad time. Our appreciation goes to the professionalism of Maillard’s for arranging the funeral, Fr Kevin Hoiles for the lovely service, Tom and Greta for the readings and the choir and organist for helping out with Mum’s favourite hymns. We are grateful to Fr Kevin, Tom and Pat for visiting Mum when she could no longer make it to church, this meant a lot to her. The biggest thanks of all goes to Pearl and the lovely staff at Maison St Brelade for the wonderful care given to Mum and the hospitality we all received, especially in the last few weeks with the help of the Hospice nurses – for that we are truly indebted.
