Nan, Phil, Dave, Ken and their families wish to thank family and friends for their support these last few months, to those who visited Dad and all who attended his funeral service, the lovely condolence cards and letters received were very comforting. To all who sent donations to Jersey Hospice Care or Cancer Relief in Dad’s memory. To Dr N Stevens, Dr N Webster and Dr C Cook for their care of Dad, to Dr N Bailhache and the outstanding staff at Clarkson House, for the love and compassion given to Dad, and also ourselves, nothing was ever too much trouble, also to the Hospice Home Care Team. To Karen’s Care Agency for their humour, kindness and thoughtfulness while caring for Dad, to Family Nursing and the Occupational Therapist Unit, through the combined efforts of you all we managed to keep Dad home where he wanted to be for as long as was possible. Thanks also to Rev A Thewliss and Rev L Hunter for a lovely service, to Mr C Hinault for his warm and personal eulogy, the Jersey French added that ‘special touch’ which Dad would have been thrilled with. To Mr I Barette for his magnificent horses and Maillard’s for the funeral arrangements and to St John’s Honorary Police for traffic control. With gratitude and blessings.

Graham , Jane and family would like to express our sincere thanks to those who attended Mum’s funeral, sent cards and letters of condolence, and those who Telephoned, your support was greatly appreciated. Many thanks to the large crowd of family and friends who attended the funeral service ably conducted by the Reverend Graham Halls, John Le S Gallichan for the eulogy, Carl Le H Hinault and Doreen Picot for their contribution to the service, thank you to maestro Alan Mollet for playing the superb Ebenezer organ at its full potential, very warm thanks to the ladies of Ebenezer for organising the flowers in the Chapel and tea after the service. Thanks to Dr John Howell for the years of dedicated support to Mum and his comforting words to us at her passing. Special thanks to all the staff at Silver Springs Care Home for their love and dedication shown to her during her seven month stay, but particularly in the last month when she became very frail. Thanks to Ken, Sarah and all the staff at Maillard’s Funeral Directors for their help and professionalism in making the funeral arrangements. Thank you all.
