DALIGAULT, Lionel John

Passed away on Saturday, 10 June, 2023, aged 78 years, devoted husband and much-loved soulmate of Vanessa, loved son-in-law of Mavis and brothers-in-law Brian and Richard. Lionel fought his long cancer battle with great courage and will always be very sadly missed.

Funeral Service

Relatives and friends wishing to attend Lionel’s funeral service are invited to meet at Georgetown Methodist Church on Friday, 30 June at 11 am, followed by burial at St Saviour’s Parish Cemetery.

Flowers may be sent to Maillards Funeral Directors, to arrive no later than 9 am on the morning of the funeral, or donations may be sent in Lionel’s memory to Family Nursing & Home Care (Jersey) inc, Le Bas Centre, St Saviour’s Road, St Helier, JE2 4RP.

BULLEN, Roy Malcolm.

Roy’s family would like to thank Andy Errington-Rennell and the staff of Pitcher & Le Quesne for the professional and caring service provided to us. Reverend Helen Gunton for the beautiful church service, and all who attended Roy’s funeral and sent cards and letters including Dementia Jersey. Many thanks to Dr Steven Perchard for his care of Roy, and the staff of the General Hospital especially A & E and Beauport Ward. To Adrian Carey (RNLI) who travelled from England to support us, and also Nigel Sweeney and family for their love. To past and present crew for the Guard of Honour and to Karl, Bruce, James and Steve, volunteer RNLI pall bearers. To Simon Thomas for creating the flower arrangement on Roy’s coffin, Cheryl Stanley for the beautiful arrangements in Grouville Church, and Organist Alan Mollet, his music was very uplifting. To Constable Mark Labey and the staff of Grouville Parish Hall for their love and kindness, and finally, many thanks to Stanley Payn, his chef and all the team at Holme Grown, the buffet was superb.

Passed away peacefully at General Hospital on Sunday, 18 June, 2023, aged 88 years, much-loved husband to Anne, Dad to Pip and Gae, father-in-law to Paul, and Papa to Freya and Ethan.

A private cremation will take place.
