Passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, 23 November, 2025, aged 86 years, much-loved Mum of Paul and Julie, mother-in-law to Michelle and Peter and adored Nana to Emmie, Katie, Charlotte and Ben. Reunited with her beloved husband Ray.

YATES, Silvanus Arthur (Silva)

Of Auvergne, Rue des Marettes, St Martin, Jersey, passed away peacefully at home after a short illness on Tuesday, 11 November, 2025 in his 92nd year, having been cared for by his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Nancy, much-loved father of Marc, Dan, Alexa, Conrad and Bruno, father-in-law of Clare, Richard and Floriane, and cherished and proud grandfather of Joshua and Kseniya, Alec, Cammi, Evangeline and Gaspar, Richard, Phoebe, Libby, Nina, Ben, Darcy, Jack, Rose, Robin and Aurore. Also, brother of the late Michael and late Rosemary. He will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him.

Reunited at last with Nancy.
