AUDRAIN, Bob (Francis Rouxel).

– Marjie and Gary thank everyone who attended Bob’s funeral and wake on Wednesday, 30 November. Thanks also for so many cards, phone calls and home visits from our neighbours, Bob called them his friends. Thanks for Maillard’s for making Bob’s passing so special, and to Alicia for so much care and understanding which gave us such great comfort. Also thanks to Helen Gunton, Rector of Grouville Church, everything was so lovely, and to the Beachcombers Hotel for our final get-together and last farewell. To Tracy his Godchild for her wonderful eulogy, giving an insight into Bob’s early life, so interesting to us all.

Our Bob, a truly lovely man, so much love. Always by our sides.

– Marjie and Gary.

A special mention to the General Hospital for the outstanding care, to doctors, nurses and all staff for making Bob’s stay so bearable. He was, and along with Gary and me, grateful beyond words. Thanks also to Doctor Jackson of Lister Surgery for outstanding care over many years, we were so lucky to have him in our lives, particularly during the difficult last weeks of Bob’s life.

Thanks to all.

– Marjie and Gary.
