Passed away peacefully on Sunday, 25 May, 2025, aged 88, surrounded by his loving family, beloved partner of Gill, loving father and step-father, amazing Papa and Poppy to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loving father-in-law.

LARGE, Nigel

In loving memory of Nigel.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Nigel Large (62) on Friday, 23 May, 2025, at home after a short but painful illness bravely borne. Nigel was a devoted husband to his beloved wife Karen, a cherished step-father to Louise, James, Stephanie and Max, and a proud grandfather to his adored granddaughter Skye. Nigel has also left behind a large loving family and a wonderful group of friends in Bournemouth.

We would like to thank everyone who was involved in Nigel’s end of life care and everyone who has shown their love and support to the family.

Anyone who knew and loved Nigel are invited to attend his funeral service which will be held at the Jersey Crematorium Chapel on Friday, 20 June, at 2.30 pm.

CRIDLAND, Ivy Le Guilcher (Betty)

Julie, Richard, Beverley and Collette and their families would like to express their heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended Betty’s funeral and for the many messages and cards of condolence. Thank you also to everyone who donated to Jersey Hospice. A very special thank you to Julian De La Cour at Maillards for the caring and compassionate handling of the funeral arrangements and Julie Wildbore-Hands for the beautiful Celebration of Life service. Betty was a very special lady who will be very sadly missed by us all.

AUBERT, Geoffrey David

Passed away peacefully on Monday, 26 May, 2025, in his 92nd year at St Joseph’s Care Home, beloved husband of the late Maureen and dearly loved Dad of Chris and his partner Beverley.

With all that you have been through Dad, you are now at peace and you and Mum are back together again.

Geoff will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Aged 92.

Curious, spirited and feisty to the end. Adored and totally indulged wife of the late Kenneth, stoical mother to 3 daughters (Linda, Ruth and Judith), fabulous Nellie to 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, a generous Aunty to a few and a great friend to many.
