WALLIS, Edgar Leon

Karen would like to express her heartfelt gratitude to family, friends and neighbours for their cards, messages of sympathy and the beautiful flowers she received following the passing of her beloved Edgar. Both Edgar and Karen found much comfort and pleasure in the many visits he received during his illness. Laughter could invariably be heard coming from his bedside. A special appreciation to Dr M Scaife, Jersey Hospice Care and care agencies involved in Edgar’s care. Grateful thanks to the Rev Tracey Le C Bromley for a meanigful service at St Clement’s Parish Church, and to the many people who attended. Edgar would have been honoured and proud, as we were, at the silent guard of honour provided by the St Clement’s Honorary Police and States of Jersey Police. Not forgetting the officers who attended from other parishes. Thanks to everyone who made donations to Jersey Hospice and Autism Jersey in Edgar’s memory. Sincere thanks to Andy and Phil and the team at Pitcher & Le Quesne for their guidance and support throughout Edgar’s final journey.
