Passed away peacefully on Sunday, 11 May, 2025, just after her 88th birthday, beloved wife of David, mother of Andrew, Simon and John and grandmother to Jessica, Lucy, Beth and Emily.

Carol was one of life’s true characters and filled the room with happiness. She always made you feel special and welcome whatever the occasion and will be greatly missed.

Relatives and friends wishing to attend Carol’s funeral service are invited to meet at Sacred Heart Church, St Aubin on Wednesday, 18 June, at 10 am and afterwards at Llangorse.

Smart casual dress, but no mourning clothes.

LE GROS, June

Past members of the League of Friends are invited to attend the funeral of June Le Gros which will take place on Wednesday, 21 May, at 10 am at St Clement’s Church.

June was on the League of Friends Committee from its beginning in 1978 and tireless in making arrangements for the Grouville Annexe; as coordinator for the flower service provided to patients at the General Hospital; and in managing the banking arrangements for the Hospital shop.
