It is with much sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Ted, a valued member of our community for many years.

Past and present members of the Municipality of the Parish of St Ouen are invited to attend the funeral service at St George’s Church on Tuesday, 28 April noon.

SYVRET, Edward John (Ted)

Passed away suddenly, but peacefully on Wednesday, 1 April, 2026, beloved husband of the late Christine, loving father to Sue and Mark, father-in-law to Catherine, adored Grandad to Ella and brother of Kenneth, John, Kathleen and the late Joan. He will be deeply missed by all his family and many friends.

Funeral Service

Relatives and friends wishing to attend Ted’s funeral service are invited to meet at St Georges Church, St Ouen on Tuesday, 28 April at noon.

Private burial to follow.

Brenda, Lynn, Adrian, and their families would like to express their heartfelt thanks to all relatives and friends who attended Martin’s funeral, sent cards and letters of sympathy, and for the many beautiful flowers received. Your kindness, love, and support during this difficult time have been a great comfort to us all and is deeply appreciated. PERCHARD, Doreen Georgina (née Mourant)

Aged 100 years, Doreen passed away peacefully on Saturday, 11 April, 2026 at L’Hermitage Care Home in her 100th year. Loving mother to Marion and Susan. Grandmother and great-grandmother.

GEDDES, Veronica

Passed away peacefully at Silver Lea Care Home on Tuesday, 7 April, 2026, aged 80 years, loving partner of the late Mike Troy, much-loved Mum to Andrew, mother-in-law to Jen and Grandma to Matt and Sophie.

Now at rest and pain free. She will be sadly missed.

Sadly passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Friday, 3 April, 2026, aged 90 years, beloved husband of Yvonne and a loving father of Annette, Karen, Jayne, Sally and Susan.
