Mo, Colin and Hayley wish to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to everyone who has sent letters, cards, flowers and In Memoriam donations and to all those who supported them at John’s funeral. It was incredibly moving to see that it was standing room only, and to know that more family, friends, and former colleagues from all over the world were watching via the live stream. Sincere thanks to Simon Dodkins at Maillards, Funeral Directors for guiding us so compassionately through all the arrangements, and to Julie Wildbore-Hands, who conducted the service with such warmth, dignity, and understanding. Thank you also to the staff and volunteers at Jersey Hospice Care and especially Mo’s colleagues at Family Nursing & Home Care for ensuring that John felt cared for, comfortable and safe right to the end of his life. Everyone’s kindness and support has been very much appreciated at this difficult time in our lives. Thank you all.
