Always a smile, never a frown, Always a hand when someone was down, A Dad so thoughtful, loving and kind, If he could have spoken before he died, These are the words he would have replied, This life for me is passing fast, I loved you all to the very last, Cry not for me but courage take, Love each other for my sake. A beautiful nature, a heart of gold, No finer Dad this world could hold. How much we miss him can never be told. Father in heaven, hear our prayer, Guard our dear father with loving care, Be a good Shepherd, don’t leave him alone, Love him, dear Lord, like we did at home.
