Born in Jersey on 4 July, 1959, Lisa died peacefully at home in Watford, on Thursday, 2 May, 2013, aged 53 years, working as a physiotherapist, often with the severely disabled, she had endured cancer for over 17 years. Already sadly missed by her two sons Mark and Jonathan, her partner Steve, her mother Jennifer (Dennie), her brother Guy and sisters Anna, Suzi and Sophie, who take comfort from Lisa being a born again child of God. God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in sins, made us alive together with Christ, by grace you have been saved, and raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Ephesians 2. v. 4-7.
Following a private burial, a Thanksgiving Service celebrating Lisa’s life will be held at Highfield Oval, Harpenden, Hertfordshire, (AL5 4SB) at 2. 30 p. m. , on Wednesday, 15 May. In lieu of flowers, the family would be pleased if donations could be made to Cancer Research or Macmillan Cancer Support.
