Passed away peacefully in the tender care of Jersey Hospice on Saturday, 31 December, 2016, in his 89th year, much-loved husband of 68 years to Ruth, loving father of Anthony and Annette, father-in-law to Gaye and Peter, devoted grandfather of Sarah, Thomas, Anna, Edward, Emily, Philip and the late Charles, a loving great-grandfather of eight. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. No flowers or letters please. Passed away peacefully in the loving and tender care of Jersey Hospice on the evening of Saturday, 31 December, 2016, with his darling wife Rosemary and youngest brother James at his side. An illness bravely borne – strong until the end of his 77 years. ‘To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die. ‘
