Many thanks to Dr Bonn who cared for Winnie during the last few years and Age Concern and Meals on Wheels who provided vital support. Also to my good neighbours Barbara and Mary for all their help and comfort. Thank you to the Reverend David Jones for the service. Norma and Steven would like to thank family and friends who sent cards, flowers, letters and attended the funeral service. We were overwhelmed to see so many people at the funeral and much comfort is gained from knowing Basil was much respected. Thanks also to Basil’s doctor, Dr Bob Hurst and consultants Mr J Allardice and Dr M Duku for their care and support during his illness, also Jersey Hospice nurses, especially Imelda and Michelle and Family Nursing for their care and kindness.
