On Tuesday, 21 July, 2015, Dr Jane Machin, aged 82, daughter of Jenny and Reg Pallot of the former Trafalgar Bay Hotel, Gorey, sister of George and the late Reg, beloved wife for 51 years of Professor Ian Machin, much-loved mother of Jonathan, Raoul and the late Anna and Grandma of Noah, Madeleine and Léopold. Botanist and horticulturalist, taught for spells at Jersey College for Girls, South-West Essex College of Technology and Universities of Singapore, Dundee and St Andrews.
Relatives and friends wishing to attend the funeral service are invited to meet at Grouville Parish Church, on Monday, 3 August, at 11 a. m. Family flowers only please.
