Passed away peacefully at Beaumont Villa on Sunday, 3 December, 2017, in his 92nd year, beloved husband of the late Sheila. His strong presence and sense of humour will be fondly remembered by all of his family. Thank you to all those at Beaumont Villa who have taken such good care of Tony in his last years.

Though we were apart (you chose a different path) we remained good and loyal friends to the end and for that I will be eternally thankful. The world has lost someone very special in you Tina, and it will be a far, far sadder place now you have departed. You will be sorely missed by many, I know I miss you already, your zest for life, love of people, love of Christmas and all that went with it, I could go on and on, but Tina, the time has come for you to depart this Earth and go on to a better place, I hope and pray. Tina, I am so sorry and very sad we didn’t have the opportunity to say our final goodbyes, but that was mornfuly denied us, so I say to you now, a very fond farewell and goodbye my sweetheart, may God’s love be with you always.

Leesa and Les would like to thank the many who have sent cards and messages following the death of Alice. Thanks to everyone who cared for her at the Little Sisters and to the doctors and staff of Lister Surgery, particularly Rolf, Barbara and David for their support and care. We appreciate the kindness and comfort given to Mum from the hospice team. A huge thank you to the Jersey Ambulance paramedics who have transported Mum to hospital on so many occasions, always professional, skilled, kind and so respectful. To friends and family who have been with us through the last months offering kind words and help in practical ways, we are grateful to you all. Sincere thanks to Gary and the team from De Gruchy’s for all their help and support over the last weeks. We are most appreciative of Deacon Iain MacFirbhisigh for conducting the funeral service so sensitively and for the comfort he has offered. Alice was a unique person. She will never be forgotten!
