It is with great sadness that Ann Bee peacefully passed, at St Columba’s Hospice, Edinburgh, surrounded by her family, on Friday, 30 March, 2018, dearly loved Mum to Martine, adored Granny Annie to Lacey, loved daughter to Katie and Jimmy, cherished sister to Carolyn and sister Audrey, much-loved auntie to Carla, Emma and James, loving niece and cousin to many. Michael wishes to thank all those kind relatives and friends who sympathised with him on the recent death of his mother. Thank you to those who sent cards, donations to Clifton Amenities Fund and all who attended the funeral service. Thanks to Sue Le Brocq and the Health Care Assistants and Nurses of Family Nursing & Home Care, and Lyn Ricou, Nisa Pinto and their colleagues of LV Home Care, who looked after my Mum during the past few years. Thanks also to the staff of Rayner Ward who provided care for my Mum during December and January, and the support from the Palliative Care Team and Catherine Joseph. Finally, special thanks to Anand Tewari and his team at Clifton Care Home, who cared for my Mum during the last five weeks of her life.

VAN NESTE, Carol (née Morgan)

Died peacefully, surrounded by family love on Sunday, 1 April, 2018, at Jersey Hospice, after a long and rare illness borne with uncomplaining courage. So many wonderful staff at Jersey General Hospital fought for her including, especially, those of Medical Day-Care Unit, Sorel Ward and Bartlett Ward. Finally, the gentle and perfect care of Jersey Hospice was nothing but humbling.

Carol’s funeral will take place at Jersey Crematorium Chapel on Thursday, 19 April at noon. All are welcome.
