Betty, Debbie and John send their sincere thanks to Southampton General Hospital and Jersey General Hospital for their excellent nursing care, in particular, Mr Razza, Mr Shenfine, Dr Elizabeth dos Santos and Anna Pallot for their care of Fred and for their support to the family. To Indigo Medical, in particular, Dr R Marson-Smith, and to the wonderful team of doctors at JDoc. Thank you to Cancer Relief, Jersey Hospice and Family Nursing without whom we wouldn’t have been able to fulfil Fred’s wish to remain at home. Thank you to our wonderful neighbours, family and friends who were always ready to help, some of whom did so very much, and to all those who sent cards, flowers, made phone calls, visited the family home and made donations in lieu of flowers. Thank you to Stefan and his team at Les Fontaines Tavern for hosting the wake, and finally, thank you to Mark Burke of Maillards Funeral Directors for his guidance and support in arranging Fred’s funeral and for taking the service.

Sadly passed away suddenly on Wednesday, 18 January, 2023, in Porto Rico, Gran Canaria.

A private service was held at the crematorium in Maspalomas on Friday, 20 January, attended by his immediate family and close friends.

A loving husband to Judy, a father to Kristian and his wife Wow, and Stephanie and her partner John, and Grandpa to Jessica Liam, Harry and Sophia.

MCCANN, Charlotte. The family would like to thank all who attended Charlotte’s funeral service at the Jersey Baptist Church on Monday, 16 January.
