Passed away peacefully at the General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, 28 February, 2013, aged 75 years, dearly-loved Mum of Elaine, Chris, Julie and Paula, much-loved mother-in-law of Frank, John and Phil, wonderful Nan of Emily and Greg, Emma, Vicky and Lucy and Niamh, loving great-grandmother to Alex, Andrew and Katie, adored companion of her dog Bentley. Rozelle (Roz), Lynda and Fiona would like to express their thanks to family and friends who have been so supportive over the last few difficult months. Thanks to those who attended George’s funeral, and sent so many beautiful cards and letters of condolence, and to all who sent donations to the Circulation Foundation in George’s memory. Many thanks to Dr Melendes, Peter Jolly and all the community nurses, who, together with the great Family Nursing Team, worked so hard to enable George to stay at home for so long. Heartfelt thanks to Dr Shah and his exceptional team on Beech Ward for their wonderful care of George and their kind and caring support of us too. Thanks also to Reverend Canon Geoff Houghton for his care and compassion and leading such a warm and personal service.
