Died peacefully at the general hospital with her family by her side on Tuesday, 20 March, 2018, aged 88 years, loving wife of the late René, devoted mother of Bruce and Jenny, dear mother-in-law of StJohn, Granny of Jonny, Joshie, Joseph and Theo. When angels visit us, we do not hear the rustle of wings, nor feel the feathery touch of the breast of a dove, but we know their presence by the love they create in our hearts.
Relatives and friends wishing to attend the funeral service are invited to meet at Grouville Parish Church on Thursday, 29 March at 11 am. At the family’s request, no mourning clothes please and family flowers only, but donations in Simone’s memory may be sent to the Animals’ Shelter (JSPCA), c/o the Administrator, 89 St Saviour’s Road, St Helier, JE2 4LA.
