The family would like to thank all who gave them love and comfort in their recent bereavement. Special thanks go to all the devoted and caring staff at Lakeside Care Home where Edward enjoyed four happy years and to his GP, Dr Mark Wilbourn and other doctors who treated him. Thanks to all who attended Edward’s service, to the Reverend Debbie Godefroy for leading us through the celebration of his life, to organist Alan Mollet and to members of the Funeral Choir. Thank you for the kind donations made to Les Amis and/or the RNLI in Edward’s memory. Julie, Mandy, David and Leslie would like to thank all friends and relatives who attended Mum’s funeral, and sent cards and letters of condolence, they really mean so much to us, also, thank you goes to all who have sent donations to Jersey Hospice in memory of Mum. Our grateful thanks also go to Rev Gerry Baudains who led the service, Gary at De Gruchy’s Funeral Care for his sensitive attention in carrying out our wishes for Mum, also to Diane at Apple Blossoms for the beautiful floral tributes. Finally our thanks go to all the staff at Jersey Hospice for the gentle, tender care they gave Mum in her last days.

Jean, Chris and Jenny would like to thank all those who sent cards and letters of condolence as well as those who phoned with messages of sympathy following Allan’s passing in December. Thanks to all who attended the funeral, in particular those who travelled from the UK and France to be here and grateful thanks to the Reverend Debbie Godefroy for leading the service with her comforting and compassionate words. Our gratitude to the staff of the A&E and ICU departments of the General Hospital for their care and compassion shown to Allan in his final days, and their kindness to us. Finally, sincere thanks to all staff at Pitcher & Le Quesne for dealing sensitively with the arrangements, with particular gratitude to Gareth and Steve.
